Change Africa Foundation announces Campus Mini stadium, Igbosere as the location for the 5th edition of its annual charity event, Konamii Africa happening on the 5th of July at the press conference it held on the 18th of July, 2018. The Foundation also announced it’s sponsorship partners for this year’s event which are Sterling bank and Meristem Securities Limited.
The event is set to include new fun activities which includes bouncing castles, fire works at the end of the event. Also, the foundation will be utilizing more space in the stadium to provide a conducive environments for vendors and attendees. Adequate security was promised by the foundation head, Olamide Olabisi, who said he was in talks with the security organizations in Lagos to make sure the event runs smoothly.
The Foundation also announced that it will be going beyond just offering clothing and food stock for the charity homes but also through critical review, it will be selecting charity homes which are in dire need of basic amenities to function as a sustainable organization which includes infrastructure and amenities. In partnership with the sponsors, Change Africa Foundation intends on building a long lasting system which the charity organizations can benefit from.
About Konamii Africa
Africa’s premier charity soccer fiesta is the driver initiative of the Change Africa Foundation dedicated to raising funds and advocating support for orphanage homes across African cities.
The initiative since its launch in 2013 has hosted many youths with an average attendance of over 3,000 spectators enjoying different soccer and entertainment activities. This has earned the initiative the undisputed rank as the largest gathering of youths every summer in Lagos.
