Reekado Banks appeals to God for a shower of blessings on “Blessings On Me”. Blessings is never too much, of course, this is the premise Banks is basing is singing on. “Blessings on Me” is Reekado Banks follow up to the earlier released “Bio Bio” which features Duncan Mighty.
“Blessings On Me” is produced by Princeton and this release adds to Banks’ claim as one of the most consistent contemporary Nigerian artists. This new number is an afropop jam and it has huge potentials to get spins on radio stations pending the time of the release of its video.
Reeky acknowledges how far he has come in his singing career in “Blessings On Me”. He does not also forget to take a dig at those doubted him from the beginning.
He continues to ask for more blessings. But the reason for his appeal is all glaring. Reeky wants to keep stunting on Thomases — of which it is typical of the entire Nigerian populations.
“Blessings On Me” is a marker of Reekado Banks’ Nigerian-ness.
