Nigerian singer & songwriter, Bowale releases his second offering of 2018, titled, “Good Loving”, produced by Bobo Shegge.
The nominal instrumentation of Good Loving is used to good effect. Its percussion based sound bolsters the sweet trickling rhythms of Bowale to create an enthralling love ballad with a compelling hook sung in Yoruba in which he urges his listeners to gently move with the vibe. He adds emotional depth to his lyrics when he vows to his love interest that nothing can come between them.
Bowale uses groovy Yoruba inspired hooks accompanied with verses delivered in a rap-sing mixture. His way with sound draws just enough attention for the listener to understand what he’s saying with every lyric. His style has been recognized as afro-fusion, afro-pop & fuji-pop by early listeners.
Bowale is signed to Dreamchaser Management, and he made his first public appearance at the 2017 edition of Lucid’s Lemon Curd with a well received performance of his debut single ‘Afro Love’.
According to him, he’s just trying to make good music that cuts across borders and appeals to people across the world while trying to maintain that cultural representation in his sound; drawing inspiration from his upbringing, experiences and lifestyle where necessary.
