Leading Nigerian Fashion designer, Yomi Casual has released a new collection called Regal featuring media personality, IK Osakioduwa and Liberian-Ghanaian movie director, Eddie Watson. The menswear brand latest collection expresses sophistication in all its shades.
Regal feeds on the age long embroidery culture. It does so using crisp and vibrant patterns. The yellow embroidery patterns stand out over a complementing black fabric.
It is a ceremonial collection that can serve as an outfit for various kinds of occasions —- from traditional to more urban events —- this tunic and jacket collection stands out.
Regal draws from Nigeria’s monarchy. Its exquisite designs cater to true traditional regalia. Regal asides retaining some characteristics of kingly regalia, also strips some excesses, thereby ending with a modern design.
“Yomi Casual is on a mission to revive the intricate embroidery,” A statement announcing the collection said.
Regal is a revisit of earlier designs by Yomi Casual. It is a sort of journey that goes back to the brand’s beginning.
“After going back to it roots where it started from as the brand launches a royalty collection which highlights the unique needlework designs.”
